Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
These terms apply to therapy, assessment, and supervision services provided by Dr. Helen Sessions, trading as Winchester Psychology.
Appointments
Sessions are offered at the Winchester clinic (Southgate Chambers, 37-39 Southgate Street, Winchester SO23 9EH) and online via Zoom.
Cancellation policy
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session fee. We will always aim to offer an alternative appointment where possible.
Fees and payment
Current fees are shown on the Fees page of this website. Payment is requested at the time of the session unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Confidentiality
All information shared within sessions is treated as strictly confidential. Confidentiality may only be broken in exceptional circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to others, or where we are required to do so by law. Where possible, this would be discussed with you first.
Scope of service
Dr. Sessions works with working-age adults. In some circumstances it may become apparent that a different service would be better suited to your needs, for example an NHS service where there are concerns around risk. In these cases you would be signposted to the appropriate service.
This service does not provide emergency or crisis support. If you are in crisis, please contact your GP, call 999, or contact the Samaritans on 116 123.
Online sessions
Online sessions are conducted via Zoom. You are responsible for ensuring a private, secure environment for your session. Sessions should not be recorded without prior written agreement.
Complaints
If you have a concern about the service you have received, please raise it directly with Dr. Sessions in the first instance. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the British Psychological Society (bps.org.uk) or the Health and Care Professions Council (hcpc-uk.org).
